Manager/Coaches Conduct

  • As the team manager, by the actions and conduct, set the example for your players, parents and spectators. Set a good example at all times.

  • Provide your players, parents and spectators with a copy of the codes. Ensure they understand what is required of them and actively promote the codes.

  • You are responsible for the players health, welfare and safety, particularly with young players during the period they are under your control. From the arrival of the first child to the collection of the last.

  • Ensure that each player is correctly dressed with the necessary safety equipment, shin pads, etc. before being allowed to play.

     

  • Get treatment for an injured player immediately. There are no exceptions.

  • Never, physically or mentally, push a child beyond their abilities.

     

  • Never condone unacceptable behaviour by doing nothing.

     

  • Always be prompt, courteous and correct when dealing with league officials, referees and opposition managers. Confirm venues, timings and dates etc. as early as possible and at reasonable times of the day.

     

  • Read, understand and be aware or your responsibilities as laid down by the league. Remember and remind all, that bad behaviour is unacceptable and punishable by the League with heavy fines and / or suspension for the Club.

     

  • Check that you have the required equipment, documentation and first aid before you leave for the match and training.
